A recently built, honeyed-stone house, Villa Anthea captures the understated, Bohemian chic that draws visitors to tiny Antiparos. The villa is next to the uber-cool Rooster Hotel, and close to picturesque Antiparos Town. The beach is just a couple of minutes' walk, accessed via The Rooster, and is great for watersports. You can enjoy the hotel’s bar, the ‘farm to table’ restaurant and spa treatments at the House of Healing, but with the luxury of returning to the privacy of your own villa.
Anthea sleeps 12 guests across a main house and four guesthouses, all with independent entrances and en-suite shower rooms; it’s a great choice for a group of friends or a couple of families. Interiors have a relaxed, contemporary vibe with lots of artwork, set against a backdrop of pale walls and floors creating an atmosphere of space and light. There’s a well-equipped modern kitchen and large dining and living space with views of the sea.
Spacious terraces, softened with olive trees and bougainvillaea, provide plenty of opportunities to relax outside. A large covered area provides shade for dining and sitting, with views out to sea and great sunsets. There are two further lounging areas with a variety of seating options, an outdoor bar and a barbecue. The pool ‘with a view’ is wonderful and has underwater lighting for those evening dips.
